WASHINGTON, D.C. (exclusive) by Ivy Harper

@ etork: As if Facebook’s national spin doctors haven’t made inroads at FORBES, cnet, etc. Come on. Do you believe everything you read online?

@ TheAnswerIs42: Welcome to the LJS’s Comment Forum where I, Educator, and others opposed to this Mueller-Robak (excuse me, Senator Tyson Larson-sponsored bill) have been a part of for many years.

@ Ban Censorship: Again, welcome to the LJS Discussion Board. Interesting and convenient, isn’t it, that we haven’t read your moniker before “Big Lawbbying’s” interests/motives etc. are actually being called out online.

Oh, the power of Lincoln’s “Top Dog” “lawbbying” firms; they obviously don’t like to be challenged. Quick. Set up some new gmail accounts and let’s rustle us up some impassioned LJS Commenters with lofty-sounding names. I kid. Kinda.

And finally to Ban Censorship who states, “I’m sure I don’t have the only tyranical boss that would do such a thing. [poor baby, by the way; he/she sounds horrible. Wait, there was a movie called, “Horrible Bosses” but it was a comedy. Your situation sounds like a drama, right?] This is an issue that if you haven’t had a problem with it, you don’t think it is necessary.”

Who are these nasty Cornhusker bosses? They should be fired. Let’s name corporations. It’s odd because Lincoln + Omaha’s Chambers of Commerce consistently tout Nebraska companies as “Top Places to Work.”

To recap: manufactured problems by “lawbbyists” who use Legislatures the way that advertisers use the Super Bowl: to push products.

Bottom line: this Facebook bill is all about two things: commerce + ka-ching, ka-ching.
